I have a shuffle 'cause it works so well with itunes, unfortunately the lack of a screen prevents me from installing linux or anything.

what ever happend to mp3 players?
anyway does this mean ipods are like little macs? otherwise how the hell did they get an emulator on something designed to play music?

Itunes is irritating and simply exists to justify the file format apple uses to tighten its grip on the portable music market. I use some noname player. Mp3 files are crap too, I use WMAs (smaller and generally better quality, none of that watery/warbelly mp3 crap).
