Ok, last time was...so-so in my opinion, so I gave it another go, and while I'm ok with how it turned out, I feel I could have done better. Anyway, this is Newb, who is the main character of the game I'm working on. The game will be completely in black and white, so I wanted to do a test, and you can see him against both backdrops.
Anyway, fire away with the comments, cause I still feel somthing is missing(and don't say animation or pose, I'm too new to be going that far just yet  )

I cant draw graphics in MMF that well. Maybe I should just make a game with completely hand drawn sprites. Anyways, good looking.

Original sprites = good, you should try it, Greasy. 
Anyway, not a bad second sprite attempt either.

This one will be the main topic I put this junk in...anyway, next update will feature sprites that aren't standing around, and I'll try my hand at doing backdrops....since I highly doubt the old gradient backdrop ala KnP is gonna cut it anymore

Very good. I find that the hardest part by far is animating them though.

Working on a whole slew...well post some of them when I'm happy with the quality. Really getting into drawing with pixels...and thank god I learned this, cause my tablet just bit the dust today...and had I not been able to draw digitally, I would have been really annoyed.
