It seems to me there must be an extension out there somewhere that would be able to read the audio information from a music file so that one can make visualizations in mmf sort of like the ones windows media player comes with or winamp. I've done some digging around but can't come up with anything. Perhapse this can be done with the combination of two or three extensions?

ModFusion EX 3 can do it, I think. But I dunno if it works on modules only, or also other file types...

There was a file i saw for TGF years back which used the DMC object for something similar.

The basic layout was a vertical bar on the left with two people in the middle and vertical bar on the right.

The Bars changed height in time with the music and the people danced (well their arms flapped about a bit). It worked with any music files you played.
