NOTE: This is not the restart of the Core I'm doing now (Which will probably go through a title change); the is the version I abandoned a while ago. The reasons for the abandonment should become obvious after playing for a bit; I rushed the game at the last minute to try and hit a deadline, and it shows. There are some bugs (Like auto gaining full life at boss2), this really annoying sound glitch that really, really pisses me off (But maybe it won't happen to you), and I'm totally unhappy with the AI/bosses. I personally mark this project under the "Lessons Learned" category.

I'm posting this here because quite a few people have asked me to put it up somewhere; and I don't consider this to be an "official" release; so the forums it is.

Controls
-----------------------
Arrows - Aim/Move
Down - Access save console (Tiny flashing blue panels)
Space - Switch Beam
Shift - Jump (Hold to jump higher)
Control - Shoot (Hold to Charge)
Down + Jump - Dash (Once found, Keep holding the direction you dashed in to keep running at that speed)

If you hold one direction, then the other (Left/Right only) you will aim behind you while still moving in the direction you wanted. Very useful.

Extra/Bonus stuff

Hurdler Mini-Game
Hack your core.ini file to include these lines.

[Bonustastic]
Cleanglass=1

That will unlock the Hurdler Bonus game on the game selection screen.

Notes
A very large part of this mini-game is learning to use your standard charge shot to propel yourself while jumping. To do this, you must; Jump, aim down, and release your fully charged shot, all while holding jump. It does take a bit of getting used to, but it's extremely useful. Keep this in mind, the faster(closer to the ground) you release your shot on the way up, the more of a boost you get. (You can rocket yourself to the top of the screen if you'r quick enough)

The other part of this mini-game is using the dash right, while the announcer is talking (That's me!), you can't move per se, but you can inch forward by dashing continually.

If anyone has any problems with the bosses, just post here and I'll tell you how to beat them. If you guys want a map, I might be able to do that one too.

Craps, I'm an old man!
