Anyone know the String command to make a new line in MMF2?

Tried and failed:
\n ex: "test"+"\n"+"Test" and "test\nTest"

"new" + Chr(10) + Chr(13) + "line"

no luck...

HELP please

There be TWO ways, young master!

The FIRST WAY (Arr! etc) be to press Ctrl+Enter in ye olde Expression Editor, which shall forcibly make ye a new line without closing ye editor!

And the SECOND, MORE FEAR-INSPIRING WAY be to type "Newline$", which shall verily act like \n!

Now, where be my pills, scalliwag!? <hic!>

EDIT: Darn, ye beat me to it, LIJI. Darn ye goggly eyes!

Those are methods YES! But THIS method is the most DOOMFUL and IMPRACTICAL OF ALL!

Make a string object, and edit it's initial string to just have a linebreak. THEN name it "linebreak".

THEN you just need to insert text("linebreak")

Nah, use the ctrl+enter method.

wow, i was asking people only the other day about this, I worked out CTRL+enter eventually but newline$ didn't seem to work for me.

i was using the text blitter, i'm not sure if that is different in any way.

I've had problems with newline$ in the past aswell.. First time I tried it with MMF2 it worked perfectly however.

Lol, I tend to do things about as doomful as bibin's method. I think my code is full of stuff like that, by the time I get about 20 of events stuffed with those things, I close the project and never open it again .

Anyway, sounds like something I should add to my Click FAQ, not that anyone reads it.
