I'd like to know if someone could give me a pointer on how much cpu the angle control uses in MMF2. It would be interesting to know. I'm currently playing around with angles in a top-down space shooter.

Depends mostly on the specs of your computer? Probably no more than 2%

So using the "change angle" event with a bunch of actives at the same time shouldn't eat to much cpu of the "standard" computer.

I doubt it, although I wouldn't worry too much about taxing the CPU, don't lower the quality of the game for it - for example. It'd only have any major effects on very slow machines, or machines that are running too many multiple applications - which when they're playing your game, shouldn't be the case

I say, test it! Make an application with some constantly rotating actives, and make it create new actives if you press a certain key. Then keep a close eye on the task (editrt.exe I think) in the Task Manager.

A low-res option for people with slower machines, perhaps? I wouldn't worry about it though, it doesn't consume that much CPU as far as I know.

That, and also if high-quality rotations is set to TRUE, it will probably use up about .01% more CPU.
