When a unit is selected, it should show his firing range.
Range in pixels is in alterable values.
Can someone help me how to draw a circle around a unit showing his range.
And then resize the circle when showing someone elses range
active picture object is screwed every time it is resized. so i cannot use that.
And the circle should be only one object.
I tried a lot of objects and i m unable to do it
Quick Backdrop? Who told you it could draw circles? Quick Backdrop doesn't show up in the event editor because it doesn't have any actions or conditions. You use it to create different kinds of simple backdrop objects.
Instead, use the Overlay object. It can draw many kinds of geometric shapes, including circles. Download the Overlay Redux object from www.extensions.co.nr, and copy the .mfx file into your /extensions/ and /data/runtime/ directories.
Okay, the easiest way to do it is to take an oatmeal container and a pen, and flip the container upside down onto a piece of white paper. Then, use your pen to trace around the outside of the edges. You can then even use a smaller container like a Coke can to make a smaller circle right above it. Then draw some dots on the top circle. Voila! Instant snowman!
