Well, prerendered sprites worked for DKC. Of course no one ever drooled over Donkey Kong's cleavage. Also the JPG compression blurs the already tiny pic so it's gonna look better on the real thing than on those screens.

Well. Just recently tried out Pimp my ride for the Ps2, and I must say that it's bothering me. They have such a great thing in pimp my ride, and they go and spoil it like that. They should be ashamed!

Hey, I love prerendered sprites. The only problem is that they animate badly and you have to chop off the jagged edges. But I don't buy GBA games anyway, most of them are overcharged for only a few hrs of entertainment. Heck, my mobile supports MMORPGs with easy payment, but I don't buy them either.
