there are certain american websites that dont let foreigners visit them.
if anybody from outside the usa tried to visit whitehouse.org during the last presidential election you would get a message that this site is ONLY for citizens of the united states (very friendly for soldiers who were in iraq).
Anyways can somebody tell me exactly what I have to do so that American sites think I’m American as well. I think the trick is port forwarding or something but I really don’t know at all so some step by step guide or something like that would really help. Thanks a lot.
In your browser's connection config you should be able to specify a proxy, which you can find lists of by googlating. Or you can use a proxy site (like those anonymous browsing sites), which is typically slower, but easier and ideal if it's just one particular site. You just need to find one with a US IP, which should be any that don't have an international TLD.
