Here I have a picure of a delicious, fresh donut:

If I wanted to show that this donut was rolling, how would I do this? I could bump it up a pixel then down a pixel to give a bumpyness effect to it but just what is a realistic way of showing perfectly rounded objects rolling? Hmm...

Yep, I agree with Ricky. Give it sprinkles or wrinkle or icing or jimmies or... whatever. Then rotate it.

Hope that helps!

It seems like the only way. I'll have to add goodies to it and it'll end up looking even more yummy than before. I hope I don't eat him

Add some anomalies to it so you can see it rotate. If it's the same colours for the same parts the whole way around it won't look like its spinning - its like spinning a red cirle or something :\ It'll just look like its moving.

Also you could make certain frames where it ISN'T perfectly round? Like on the 'bobbing' one or before/after for example.

Hope that helps! .. now I'm hungry lol

Ahh I know what you mean! Yeah that could work but it looks like I'll be adding a design of sorts just to make it more... real. =|

Add only a few artifacts and then let MMF2 rotate it in angles? It'll always look just a bit different that way.
