I can't wait for this and get the opportunity to throw some minted stuff into Tormi. I tried adding a breakable wall (like the ones in Turrican 2) but MMF2 started to cry.

I don't want to do anything fancy. I just want flicker free scrolling with acceptable frame rates. I am looking forward to Hardware acceleration.
I think its going to be delayed. Remember at the Convention, they said vitalize will be done at the end of September Clickteam is a bit behind schedule. I hope I'm wrong

I want fancy stuff, I want explosions all over the place and dynamic lighting and all that flashy shite. Oh yeah, and decent frame-rates.

I want my computer to be able to pick up the slack for my lousy coding.
I'm beamish.

Vitalize 4 is in final testing stages now.
HWA is still planned to this XMas and so is a Java Runtime Public Beta.

Yep, the frame rate's got to be the number one reason for implementing HWA

Effects aside - it'll be able to handle lots of actives yea? Anything more than 300-700 now really grinds my system down. And it's a C2D!

Mr. Dr. James you haven't seen the HWA demos?
At the CC itself we made 20000 Actives with rotation, Pixel Shader effects and scaling. It ran at 1 FPS but the application still ran!
Anyway ~1500 actives is fine.

I know what they are but we'll get them with HWA? I had no idea! I thought it just unloaded some of the workload from the CPU to the graphics processor.
