I believe someone was looking for a program that emulated the keyboard using a joypad. I've found one and its pretty useful in my opinion especially for those games that dont have joypad support.
Yarr, that's a great program, but it has one rather annoying fault (or, rather, there's one annoying shortcoming in using it to translate the controls of the typical Click game): if you set a button to shift, it has some issues when you try holding that button. That is, if you hold the button and then press a direction (or release a direction, for that matter), the button will un-hold itself.
The result is that any game in which you use shift to jump, which has variable jumping, and which doesn't let you change controls (and there are a good many of these games) will be nearly impossible to play with a Joy2Key mapping. You'll hold jump, then press to the side, which will immediately truncate the jump. Makes for some very trying platforming.
It's still a great program, though, and has served useful for many o' those games that don't support any sort of joypad input, but including a joypad option will always be a better choice in my book.
