Ive got Camtasia studio 4 and it appears to be free and fully functional. Unless i got a crack for it and forgot lolz.

A while back I got Camtasia Studio 3 free of charge. They were just giving it away for a short period for some reason. Unsure if they will do it again but you never know... Keep your eyes open for it.

I used to swear by CamStudio, it's 100% free and probably the best you can get for free at the moment!

Voila. You may want to set the processor task priority to high if you have an older computer. (In windows XP: Ctrl+Alt+Del; Processes; right click wmencoder.exe; set priority high.)
