In this thread we try to find out what is the best piece of music in a game ever! Post as many submissions as you feel the need to then we will all debate on which is the best. They don't have to be retro either, they can be from current gen systems.
What you need to do is post a youtube video or some way to listen to the music, only streaming media though because we don't want to download loads of music...
You can't just write the name of your choice, we need to hear it k?

Megadrive/Genesis Streets of rage 1. Round 1.
With games like this it's no surprise Sega gave Nintendo such a hard time in the 16 bit console wars. ^^
Megadrive/Genesis Zero wing level 2.
Although the game is most famous for it's Enrish intro text the music is pretty decent too!
Commodore 64. Monty on the Run.
Insane, but awesome.
This one was pretty cool. (Note: Couldn't test the sound because it's too early in the morning. If it's no good, search "Megaman Network Transmission Needleman's stage")
That game had quite a few good musics...
Good heavens yes. My skin went all tingley at that - such an amazing ending. Bittersweet and all that. Almost 100%ed it too! Just needed 1 final heart piece. They weren't real none of them
There was another one I had in mind... Can't remember now. Bad memory, that's me.
Can't test this one either... Usually sounds better with just piano.
Me playing the intro to that last song on accordion. Sounds crappy because I dubbed two different recordings over each other. (Also why it looks like I'm not playing it.)
