Hello fellow game-makers!

I've been doing a project for a year now, on and off, with my limited knowledge of TGF. It is a one-screen arcade-puzzler made to look a bit like an old 8 bit game. It is about a medic, a cartoon duck, who has to find his way through a war zone in order to save wounded soldiers. Rapid bullets fly around at random so the duck has to duck a lot - that's why I called it "Duck Dammit!". Recently this project got way past my abilities (I'm more of a game/art designer then a programmer) so I need help to finish it off.

The game as it stands now is about 1/3 finished in terms of lenght (I'm planning 15 levels, have done about 6) and it's very playable apart for some irritating bugs. It's better that you download and check it out instead of me writing about it, cause it pretty much speaks for itself. Now, I'm thinking a real TGF gearhead would want to scrap my "codes" and start from scratch, and that's probably the best thing to do with it because it's a mess. So what I need is a person who can do that. You'll get full credit as a programmer (and for whatever else you might contribute to the game). I'm always open for ideas for improvement

So, do you know TGF well and need a project? - please take a look and if you like it drop me a line and maybe we can work this sucker out together!

Note: I've included the controls in a wordpad file. There are sounds for the game but I had to remove them because of problems. If sounds show up they are very likely wrongly placed, not fitting with the action in play...

Well the link didn't work. I think someone was talking about this earlier, if anybody needs a host for daily click related files, I've got a limited amount of space I can use. However, I don't want to host anything inappropriate, so this won't be going there. I was looking to help, but I don't think madre would be too keen on the name...
EDIT: yea, that sounded weird... but it's the truth!

Why does it have to be tgf? I think many ppl would use mmf2 instead.

That mathematical formula is genious. I for one, use tgf, because the interface is more clear than tgf2 and I can't afford mmf2.

Um i'd change the movement at least.

It's not that hard to get up to speed when walking and nor i should be. If you can't actually move out of the way of the random bullets there is no fun to be had, just the odd frustrating death.

so make the acceleration much faster if not instant.

What I meant is, that here is many people, who can do the game with mmf2. So basicly, he have to do graphics and stuff and let the coder make the game. And giving the source of cource.

Indeed. I understood that. He may want the source code, though, and doesn't have MMF2. Or he just uses the term "TGF wiz" to mean clicker wiz in general. Just sayin'

Thanks for the replies

I am all for changing the movement/acceleration. And as for using other programs then tgf, that's all right too. The important thing for me is that the game gets made at all. I wrote tgf wiz because the game was made using tgf, but any coder who can get the game running will do.

I'd love to help, but could you send it in email? OldManClayton@juno.com I'll take a look at it. (I hate megaupload's ads.) Seems like everyone here tends to not want to help. Not a criticism, just an observation. (most likely because they're busy with their own stuff.)
