I have a broken copy of MMF2; I can't do some things like use Ctrl+X to cut and other miscellaneous things that, while a minor nuance, doesn't break the program, as it can run fine for several hours and not show an error message. Anyways, something about this minor problem prevents any extension that uses an installer from working. I could reinstall, like the installer suggests, but then I'd have to go through boxes upon boxes of stuff just to find where I packed MMF2. So this leads me to the following question:
One, would it be too much of a hassle to ask someone to rehost the files for the new .net Script and Trackbar objects on http://ext.neatwares.ath.cx/ for me?

Yes as that is a violation of the license.
You will need to reinstall MMF so it works correctly then you should have no problems installing the updates and extensions.
Feel free to contact Clickteam here -- www.clickteam.com/eng/contact.php with your complete details if you have any problems.

Talk about lurking!
Yes as Jeff said, you should just reinstall your MMF2 anyway, as this will fix those issues you mentioned, and allow you to properly install the said extensions. If the problems persist through a reinstallation and your copy of MMF2 is legitimate, contact Clickteam with your system detail so they can try to determine what the crap went wrong.
