I'm not sure if it's been decided yet. Amy Whinehouse has been pulled out of doing the job (not sure if her and Mark Ronson are reconsidering at all? ), and new possibilities are arising, such as Duffy or Duran Duran. Personally, I'd love to see Duffy sing it, she's got a great voice IMO.
Also I hope this film is better than that last Bond film. Why are they breaking bond? This one has a bit of promise since he's more like the original bad ass Bond from the books.
Casino Royale was too much of an attempt to appeal to men AND women, by putting in all the emotional stuff. It was an alright movie, but not as good as it could of been.
No it was just pants. Here's the end of the movie! Oh no it isn't. Now here's the end! Nope. The end? I give up. It fast forwarded too much, they broke Bond (kinda like how in Die Another Day when he got captured, wtf!). Ford = boooo. sony branded firearms = boooo.
Late Brosnan wasn't great either, Bond died soon after Goldeneye. But I suppose they have to keep reinventing the format and now we've got Arnie as Bond.
im sorry to burst you bubbles, but im gonna let you in on a little secret. movies ARE about appealing to the mass public. and the last i checked, casino royale is the highest rated bond movie to date. its the only bond movie i actually enjoyed watching. im looking forward to quantum of solace.
plus daniel craig is just...yeah. (im not gay)
one word. layercake. mmmmm i loves me some good movies.

The relationship was to explain why bond becomes the womanizing agent everyone knows. I didn't think it was overdone or anything. Personally I think the pretty boy brosnan version of bond would have appealed to more women than this one.
"Would you like that shaken or stirred?"
"Do I look like I give a damn?"
Casino Royale was good but flawed in a design sense. For example, In Goldeneye, the main bad guy Trevelyan states that "I hear that the new "M" is a woman". However, why is this same woman (aka Judi Dench) in Casino Royale, the first story in the series in which Bond gets his 007 license?
