is there any way to wipe a layer of backdrops and backgrounds with transparent color?

like in a worms type game there is a background on layer one, and layer 2 above it is the terrain backdrops and when you destroy part of it you can see through to the underlying layer?

and yes i know about clear screen with color, clear zone, delete all backdrops, and delete all backdrops at. thats not what im looking for.

mmf2 btw

Your basically going to have to use the overlay object instead of a layer... Then paste into that with transparent colour, that's the best way to do worms style things (IIRC).

You can set it in the overlay, but 0,0,0.

Oh yeah, I need to use overlay for special effects but at the moment the object is bugged and will only work underneath everyhting else. I can't find anyone that wants to fix it though.
