I'm going to try to recruit a voice actor for OldManClayton. Alot of TDCers are teenagers, so it rules them out. Anyway, I don't want him to sound feeble, just older. I would require a good-ish quality microphone. Just say something like, "Hello. I'm OldManClayton Frednickers." or "To the MABOMmobile, FDK--er, Incognito!" and send the sound clip to OldManClayton@juno.com. I've decided to start doing some cartoons, so I need a voice actor. If I like your voice for the job, I'll give you an official oldmanclayton email ( OOOOoooohhh...) like: thevoiceofoldmanclayton@oldmanclayton.com or username@oldmanclayton.com. Plus, mondo doodely credits, and maybe something else if I can think of it.
Why don't you display the lines you want spoken on this thread and we can record them and send them to you? (p.s. i wanna have a go; i'm old coz i'm nearly 28!!!!!!!!!!)

I don't have a specific script down yet. Be aware that these cartoons are going to be very goofish and silly, so if you don't like doing things that may seem silly, you may not want the job.

"I don't know, sheriff (pronounced sure-iff), you've got alot more experience catching speeders than I do."
"Ya know, Pauline, yesterday the sheriff told me he drives by sense of smell."
"That actor looks really familiar... But I can't put my finger on it."
those lines are alot better with the other ones, methinks. We've got all sorts of ideas, but I'm afraid the ginormous amounts of art needed may be a bit of a hindrance. O_o Anywho, thanks abunch guys.
Wait, i got more questions - how old is OldManClayton? Am i right in saying he's around 40-50? And where in the world does he come from - what accent should he have?
Yea, he's 40-50. He doesn't sound decrepit. If you aren't sure which type of voice to go with, you could just do more than one. His family is Irish, but he has an American voice.
I'm gonna have a go at some lines for ya mate, though i'm going on a stag do on Friday til Monday so you prob won't get them til next week. Hope this is okay
