Today I’ve turned on my PC and i got 3 loud beeps and then it restarted itself- i wouldnt see anything on my screen / there was no signal on my screen and the PC fan would be super loud. I’ve tried to turn on and off my PC screen but nothing worked and I checked every cable and they were all fine SO I turned off my PC (just hit the power button) and turned it on again and everything was back to normal again.
So my question:
WHAT EXACTLY HAPPENED? Should I be concerned?
Depends on the motherboard, a few years back I fixed some chaps PC that bleeped twice and shut itself off whilst booting up. Turns out he didn't put that compound stuf on his CPU and it was overheating. Does your motherboard generate logs? I'm sure they'd shine some light on it all.
