Hmm, the PSP and DS wifi controllers do work like that, but not for twitch games. Can't play Streetfighter or the likes on that. And no they're not VNC based, there's no display relay.
I tried posting this some days ago but TDC went down. What I'm also not keen on is what dogs regular iPhone gaming - the lack of local tactile feedback like a real controller.
next. will there be any other controller layouts? like maybe snes, psx, or just a general controller with a dpad and 4 to 8 buttons? left right a b x y or L1 L2 R1 R2 circle square triangle X? movable analog sticks would be cool.
Movable analog sticks take too long. We might add more buttons in a future update, along with other things. Genesis layout is planned for sure, but for right now, it's just gameboy style. Remember that our dedication towards this app correlates with the money it makes.
WTF Bibin has a deep happy voice. BTW- cool app but when I run apps on my ipod touch, the battery literally runs down in 15 minutes, so Id get like.. 15 minutes of play time before having to recharge.
Found them, the DS is DS2key and the PSP one has escaped me (but there's also a USB version which has no lag). I think you'll have a hard time trying to convince people to buy an iPhone version when there are free alternatives. Then again at least 6 people bought the I Am Rich app so...
It's great cause my hands sweat when playing a lot of NES platformers. My Wii-mote is getting sticky cause i play megaman so much on it . It needs to have this feature too.
