I'm a novice games factory user of old. Use to post a little on klik-union. But I finial have come to realize. I don't possess good game designer skills. But I still like to get involved. Don't really know how to go about doing that. But I figure I'd post some of my art and see what happens.
Well x-sheep. I haven't a lot of sprites. But I'd like to get into it. So I can learn how to make them better... I had I little free time today plus it's about Halloween. So I decided to make a quick Vampire to show you.
It was a bit rushed. But it's a fair demonstration of my skill.
That would be a dream project for me. But I have so many failed games on my computer. Ones that nobody could understand the interface. Or just plan had no point to it. That I gave up on design.
I'm looking on here to team up, and help someone else a little with making some art work. Bucky is my favorite though. I have a whole deviant art page fully fan art of the funky fresh rabbit. http://nott-so-perfect.deviantart.com/
Welcome to TDC! Every clicker I know has folders full of dropped projects. In fact, some would argue that you aren't a clicker (or "kliker" but that term is reserved for use by users that have been around since the KNP days) if you don't.
Not that many left of us who use TGF. I still love it to death.
I was first introduced to the click world. When I found a book on the Games Factory in the book store. But it wasn't in tell the klik union. That I even learned some basic skills. I think it was Klik master. Who taught me about negating events...
It was vary humbling and the lesson was learned. I keep myself more in check these days.
Also, don't be afraid to ask questions.
We are here to help.
But look over the articles, and even in the downloads sections look at the tutorials and engines, to get some ideas of what these programs are capable of, or to help you learn.
Your just jealous that you're not as awesome as me.
