Here's another one. She seems to bland, to be honest.

Some tips to make her darker and more original would be nice. Also,

Im trying to make her transform into a bat but unfortunately, I dont know how to properly draw a bat. Can anyone help in this regard. As always, C&C welcome.

Also, any ideas how she should die, considering she's a vampire.

It looks too much like flash, in which you are just rotating the arms and legs; they never bend, nor have fluid movement. The base drawing is alright, but animating by just rotating things tends to look cheap, like an ad - I would not be surprised by having her say "CONGRADULATIONS! YOU HAVE RECIEVED TWO FREE IPOD NANOS" at any second.

hahaha, i suppose. But thats pretty much the best I can do. Im not a spriter. More like a 3d modeller but for some reason, rendered 3d graphics are not appreciated in this community.

Just use a bit more savvy - a lot of what u do in the 3d world can be applied to 2d. At least in the essence that there are workarounds to make things look better.

In flash, use LOTS of objectsand layer them. So for instance, you may have a skin-coloured circle for the back of a head. A skin-coloured block for the forehead. Two skin-coloured circles for cheeks. Etc. Then have the exact same in black, slightly bigger, and moved to the background (the outline).

You now have the basics of a head which you can bend around smoothly to any angle you want!

Just work on that basis; the main sprite is cool (needs a belly button, btw, if that's her midriff showing). Just build her body out of blocks and deform the blocks.

wow, thanks man. thats actually a pretty awesome idea. I mean I do use every body part in a different layer but I never thought about doing that to the head. Ill see what I can do about it. Maybe make the hair flow if possible.

One question though, if you ever try to export something out of flash to be used as a sprite, it has some non-transparent pixels surrounding the object if 'smoothing' is on. Without the smoothing, it doesnt look quite as good. Anyway to go around this?

If you can export frames as transparent PNG's, MMF2 will import it properly.

Good job man!
But one thing I should say it.. Their limbs don't bend. They are like dolls.
If you make it so their limbs bend in their animations, These will be really nice!
Other than that, good job.

Your just jealous that you're not as awesome as me.

The bat looks very much like The World Ends With You's Gabba Bat:

You are probably right cause I dont know where its from. I found a bat spritesheet by searching it in google. I'll put the world ends with you gabba in credits.

Im not good at animating animals and Im currently trying to make a horse :S

N thanks everyone. Im still working on more characters. I do know and have thought about giving the characters joints but truth be told, I'm too lazy to do that. Changing everything right now would take forever to do.
