I hate to post something about this here, but absolutely nobody has gotten back to me on this subject since last week over there. If you're not familiar, TigSource has an Indie games database that has "hand-picked, lovingly hand-crated games" yada yada. So last week I had submitted 2 games there but I have no idea if they were rejected or just in the submitted games line and waiting at the end of it. There's no way to tell. I had e-mailed Derek Yu about this days ago but no reply so far.. Your customer service skill hath increased by +1!
So ANYWAY, has anybody here ever submitted a game to that place, and if you have do you have any idea on how long it normally takes?
Thanks a lot.

yes there are stinkers on that site, its mostly games by people they know. For example, I've been in the klik community since KNP first shipped, but I never hit up Tigsource whatsoever, and when I tried posting Gridquest, they blew it off as some newbie trying to promote some crap game, and maybe 2 people downloaded it, and it got completely passed over. At the same time, some space shooters that my mother could have programmed made it in. Its not really a complaint about how its done, its more just pointing out not to get your hopes up unless you know the staff of the site very well.

Unfortunately that's the whole site in a nutshell. It's an introverted community and the frontpage serves as little more than Derek's pick of the forum. But it feels like that point has been brought up time and time again and it never changes. Indiegames does a much better job.
Except when Shab posts on Tigs :3

HAHA, dude well then we're in trouble because one of the games I submitted was Gridquest 2.00 lol. I said it was fun when it asked for info and etc. Yet they have a game there called "The Shit Game". Ah yes
