Netflix lets you put DVD's you want to see on a queue. They send you the next one in the mail, and you can keep it as long as you want. When you're ready to see the next one, you send it back. All for a monthly fee. If I had the money, I'd have the service. They also let you watch a lot of movies online instantly. It's pretty awesome.
Although very conveinent, I personally hate companies like Netflix that take away the fun of going to the video store & pizza joint with your friends or family.
A couple of Blockbusters and Hollywood Videos have closed in my area since the advent of Netflix & etc.

That's why I'm kind of glad we don't have it. It's fun to order Domino's and go pick out a movie as a treat rather than a daily thing. Although we've picked our local movie stores dry--all the stuff they have is crap or we've already watched. That's part of the allure of netflix... it's got EVERYTHING.
We used to have something like that called ScreenSelect, then they changed to Love Film. Was pretty ace. Never had 50 films in my queue though you nutter.
well i have been putting off getting it for almost a year for the same reasons. i loved the guys at my rental store and getting pizza n shit. but it went out of business twice. they reopened and had to close again.
blockbuster is the same as netflix now. they rent movies and send them out online. they just also have stores.
haha james i only have 50 in my queue but thats just from one night of finding movies ive been meaning to see. ive got 160+ in my want to see list on flickster.
