This seems to be pretty old so probably some of you have seen it already, but for those who haven't:

I just thing it's so cool being able to drive to your own house, in a game
Now if only it were possible to have collisions with stuff...

Ha, that is neat. I typed in my address and had to zoom out so far the car was a dot. And I was driving on my house's roof.

Ooh it's in Toyko, a city i will be visiting in September *explore*
I wanted to make a GTA-ish game set where i live and was planning to use an assembled Google Earth image as a backdrop object as i built up the map (obviously using my own grass/road/roof etc graphics as i went along , the google image would just be a guide and deleted afterwards), never thought of just driving in the map .

You can't run the people over.

Just a bit of pointless fun:
Type in "top gear test track".
Here's a map incase you don't know where to go: http://usera.ImageCave.com/adamhawker/topgear.jpg
I wish the car had better brakes

That's really cool. A useful distraction on a boring Tuesday afternoon, thanks Sketchy!
Edit: I suppose it would be practically impossible to have collision detection. Unless it used data from the road map view to create paths... Even then you'd still be able to drive on cars.
