I've shown almost everyone interested, the games I've made. I've attempted to show a few friends of mine how to use Multimedia Fusion, but they all seem convinced that it's too complex and generally lose interest almost immediately.
I can't vote since I'm not registered but not directly, no. I used to at school but these days I don't mention it. A few people who played my games got into MMF, which is something I guess.
I am a pretty aggressive click missionary. Apart from boring all my friends, girlfriends and enemies with it I have been force-feeding it to my students over the years. Not sure how many souls I've won with it. It seems it has gotten easier to convert girls now that it is ok to make atmospheric games without gameplay.
"I've shown quite a few people click products. Got my cousin and a friend to install the demos, but unfortunately their interest failed. (My cousin made some cool stuff, guess school got him busy or something.) I've never met ONE person who makes games. Or even tries to. Let alone people who are good at it and would be good connections."
Not really, no. Made a couple of games with friends but nothing more than messing around with the computer for a laugh. My friends aren't really interested in taking it up as a hobby. The closest I've come to doing Clickteam's marketing for them is a recent presentation I gave, using MMF2 instead of Powerpoint. I think it made it a little more interesting with some physics effects and made the presentation flow better by putting everything on one frame and scrolling with parallax stuff.
I have managed to get one person to get into clicking. Still at it but they will only ever show there stuff to friends and family, saying its more fun that way.
Lol, I introduce my friends to all the game making products. And they never really get into klik, most would rather use AGS or RPGM first, than something that does "2D games". Even then, they'd rather pick Construct or Game Maker.
Disclaimer: Any sarcasm in my posts will not be mentioned as that would ruin the purpose. It is assumed that the reader is intelligent enough to tell the difference between what is sarcasm and what is not.

That sounds like a game I would like to play.
You can log off any time you like, but you can't ever leave.
Me and my old mate Steve Taylor used to make games using K'n'P back in the (college) day, it was all good fun. I made them under the name Radon Enterprises and he went by the name Taylor Gamer, with a hilarious recording of him saying "Taylor.... Gamer" at the start of each of his games.
Then i tricked him into signing a contract at college to give me creative control of Taylor Gamer until ctober of that year (think it was '9, though i never once enforced it coz his arped mind was better than mine, and his games that took the p*ss out of a certain lad we knew were hilarious!
