Hey, how do I get a list of files in a folder. Like in the game "The mushroom engine", you can choose your level if you have files in the "level" folder.

I'm making a level editor/player for Blob's Adventure 3 and I'm wondering how to do this.

I suppose it's something with file objects, and fastloops but I can't quite make it work. Please help =D.

The simple way is just to use a list object, and the "Load FileList" action.
Anything more complicated, and you'll have to explain exactly how your level files are made - array/ini/binary, file structure etc.

You have to specify an extension aswell as the directory.

Eg. "C:\*.ini"

You're using appath$ and not a hard-coded "C:/" right? Some people might not put your game in their "C:" drive. Sorry if I'm stating the obvious, but I used to hardcode my pathways before and it ended up burning me in the end.
