Yay, the NFL season is finally starting!
Anyone else excited, or is it just me?
Anyone got any interesting predictions?
At the end of last season, I was all ready to tip the Broncos as contenders this year (I figured they'd keep their offense and just draft/trade for a few decent defensive players), but then Josh McDaniels has somehow managed to single-handedly destroy the franchise. I give him til November before he's fired...
Anyways, I'm now going to tip the Seahawks, who should be looking to make amends for their awful showing last season. This year they're injury free, and I reckon even Julius Jones will do well

Hoosh-man-zuh-deh left us. Oh well, I've always liked the Colts better.
No predictions. Yet.

Yeah - another reason why the 'hawks should be good this season
I'd always assumed it would be Chad 85 that Cinci traded, not Housh. I seem to remember he had a pretty bad '08 anyway though, so maybe it's not such a great loss?
I hope he does well in Seattle though - I am kind of a 'hawks fan.
Having said that, probably my all-time favourite 3 players are Hines Ward, Troy Polamalu, and Jerome Bettis, so it's hard not to have a grudging respect for the Steelers too...
Colts just plain suck though

Colts don't suck! Especially when their QB makes awesome Oreo commercials with Donald Trump(s). I was born in the Hoosier state so I'm allowed to like them and/or root for them. Though anymore (or as always, really) it's hard to pick a team due to region since they move and trade players everywhere.
My brother and I are the only Bengals fans left in the family. Dad is now a Jets fan. -__-

I've never been into sports. I just can't get into watching others play a game.
Everyone I know loves sports, plays fantasy football, watches the scores, ect.
As much as I try I just don't get whats so appealing about it.
Ah Well, sorry to steal the thread.

More than anything I just like to know who won and who lost. The actual watching doesn't really keep my attention very long. If anything I leave it on in the background while I'm working.

Damn, that hurt the Packers BIG TIME.
I can't say I really ever was into watching sports, rather than actually experiencing the thrill of being in the game.
I'd say I hope the Packers win the year, the Steelers are getting so old.
