You know I could've sworn there was an article about how to do this but I couldn't find one just now.

How would you go about making your MMF2 game give the player option to configure his gamepad (just for the 4 buttons, really) and then have your code understand the button presses afterwards?

Ex. Right now I have hard-coded lines looking for "If button 1 is pressed, then do this" & "If button 3 is pressed, to that"

I would assume an .ini would be part of the solution.

I added the gamepad (or was it joystick?) object and it didn't give me the things I was looking for.

Thank you!

I believe you need the ControlX object to be able to change the input keys

I found an article on it: http://www.create-games.com/article.asp?id=1677
