Hey guys, my name is John. I'm the owner of a very small independant game design studio in Racine, WI. One of our designers, Chloe Ou, has been working on a small project for one of the Halloween contests somewhere on this website, if someone could link me to the submission area, that'd be cool. We were almost done on it, all the characters in the game are memebers of our companies, and when Chloe split this morning, she wanted us to take her character out of the game (so we have to resprite in a new character, which is okay, we've still got time). I'm also still looking for any playtesters if anyone is interested, preferably someone who knows more about MMF2 than we do. If anyone impresses us enough, we might be so inclined to hire you on as a playtester for the comming projects.
But other than that, like I said, I own a very small independant company (we're about as indy as you can get, I always say, in fact, our studio is in my apartment to save on rental costs). We are currently waiting on our budget to come in for our first project, which should be here by the end of this year or the beginning of next year. Our first two projects were actually initially designed by Chloe, (the second of which is OMG! Zombies!, I understand she was coding it into MMF not to long ago, so if anyone was still interested in that game, you've got something really exciting to look forward to.)
I've been designing games since I was twelve, and I'm really excited to get such a great group of people together and get this going! I'm really only here for the contest, but if anyone here is interested in hearing about our progress and projects, let me know and I'll make sure to pop in from time to time.

Based on the fact that you just suddenly show up after chloecakes leaves, and also the fact that I'm pretty sure the chloecakes had that ip address, so you must be on the same internet connection.

Sorry, I misunderstood your tone, I thought you were just trying to sound like a jerk but it's cool, I understand how it does look suspicious now.
I'm not sure why it seems everyone has been monitoring my ip, but whatever. I explained all of this to Rikus last night. As I said, our company is really small, and since Chloe moved out here from Seattle to work and our budget hasn't been approved yet, I offered to let her stay at my apartment until we got things going. And since we're old friends, it really wasn't much of a problem for either of us.
As far as just registering, like I said before it's only for the purpose of the contest, and since Chloe just up and said she quit, I wasn't sure if the contest had some kind of list of entrees or something and her doing that would take us out of the contest. Plus I don't exactly have her login information.
I've got much better things to do than play games with people I don't know on the internet. I honestly don't understand what I would have to gain by doing that?
But other than that, all of us here have the same goal in mind, to create really kick-ass games, and I've got a great mind and hope you guys like some of the stuff I've got comming up.

We're all from the government.
When you register on the Daily Click it records your ip address as does any other site on the internet. It just so happens that this site has had a lot of people create fake accounts so now everyone here is on their toes about it.
Plus it doesn't take much to check the Active Users page and see that the ip addresses match. We're all computer savy here, that's why we make games!
Meh, all the fake accounts on TDC are cool. I suppose you can take that as a compliment Just don't act too fake as there's a policy against fake accounts
