I am fully capable of doing all the art myself, but there's alot of it to be done, and I'm hoping to get this project trucking along.
Anyone interested can make tiles and sprites to their hearts content. The only requirements are that the tiles be 16x16 and contain a maximum of three colors.
The project is very early on still, but if I get some help with the art I should be able to finish this off in a month.
Just thought I'd ask. Maybe some of you have a knack for making pixel art.

I watched the overworld video. The game actually looks pretty good! Very very very Zelda, though. I can't help with graphics but hopefully you'll find someone here who will be able to.

Yeah. The first thing that needs to happen is a recreation of the trees. Those are the major culprit in the zelda look.
I AM going for a zeldaish game. I just don't want people to feel like they are playing zelda itself.
