Could these be added to the arcade? Games like Pictionary Online, for example. Once an online game comes out here, people log in and have fun, but tend to just forget about them pretty quickly. If they were on the arcade, chances are they'd have more people playing and, of course, make the arcade more fun than it already is!

Pictionary would be a good addition. If enough people want the game to go on the arcade, I could start to Flash it, although a few features may have to be taken out such as the icons near the player's name. I would also probably have to use Looki's Surface Draw object (similar to overlay redux, but flash'd)

Johnny Look's Atrox Online, Marko's R.P.G (made into an online version), or Solgryn's Blobomb, would make great additions, too.

Now I want to make an online game for the arcade. However, should the game just be in the browser, or would the arcade have some kind of system, like it does for highscores. I think those things are called APIS?

That's a good idea Jon Once we're done with the solo mode, ill copy the frame and convert it to online lacewing flash. Good thing cakespear (ai guy) is back from break and he's hard coding all of the LoS, hearing, Pathfinding, and more It just might happen

Games without high-score tables will be welcomed, I'm also working on a Medals/Achievements system which will integrate into the arcade for games that don't have high scores, but still wish to have some online involvement, I'll put up a devkit/api type thing for this (as it doesn't need to be quite as secure as the highscore system)

This is the post I was waiting for. As long as they can be accommodated in the arcade, I love the idea!

I hear say that Marko's planning an online sequel to R.P.G. after his current projects...

Did TDC's OINC server ever get revived and converted to Lacewing?

Medals/ Achievements Does that mean you can add a sort of pop-up for an unlocked achievement during that game. And each achievement is worth a number of points? If so could you upload a .mfa template to add into the game, instead of an admin adding it such as the high score boards. You could set a group with the important info that locked with a password so people cant hack it?

All hypothetical of course. But that would be awesome if it happened

Yes it did. I asked Clubsoft to handle that a while back although if I remember correctly, it wasn't running the last time I tried to connect.
