It's not on every frame but for this new one it's REALLY OBVIOUS. What happened is I went into the storyboard editor (MMF2) and copy / pasted a frame and started working on that new one. Now the source frame was 330 x 205 and I later made the target frame much larger at 660 x 410.

Anyhow ever since I did that you can see dotted black lines which divide the frame into 4 sectors of 330 x 205 (I approximate, but it looks correct). The lines don't interfere with anything but do make it look like ass. Both the frame size and virtual frame sizes are 660 x 410.

Any idea what's going on, and more importantly is there a way to get rid of these lines? I figure there must be because I have lots of other larger frames without these lines.

Thank you!

Sorry for the delay, I had to turn on my other computer and check the settings

Okay, the frame is 660 x 440 pixels and I'm using the window control object that can be set at 3 different sizes (x 2 / x 4 / full screen). The screenshot is 646 x 432 because I take the header and thin window frames into account for the calculation to place the game dead center of somebody's monitor screen. Except for fullscreen I chose those sizes so that Rovert and company would still look like chubby little bastards when blown up. In Hasslevania 1 it's always full screen so the graphics were sort of distorted vertically and appear taller than they actually are.

It's Direct X but I don't know the version. No Vsynch is enabled because I think it slowed everything down when I tried it years ago while planning this. Finally it's set to resize display and fill the window.

EDIT: I forgot to mention that the resolution is normally 320 x 200. I have the smallest frames set to 330 x 205 to allow for screen shaking and all that.

Bump, in case anybody knows and didn't see this before.

I hope it's not one of those "It's one of those MMF2 things" things.

Did you make sure it's not something as simple as black lines in the pattern itself, anywhere... particularly hidden on the sides. If you zoom in, the far right and far bottom row of pixels sometimes do not show up which could be hiding them. I had this same exact issue in ArcaneTale and that was my problem, somehow these lines worked their way into the far right and bottom rows of pixels. Might be a glitch in editing? I'm not sure. I know the select tool is cluttered with glitches.

Wow you were right! The background bricks glow a bit and when it's in design mode the bricks are darker red so I didn't notice it then. I went in and edited all the brick frames and it fixed the problem.

Thanks buddy!
