I wana do game sprites.
here is a sprite I made of top-down shooter guy.
I wana do sprites for a project that would be cool.
anyways.
He isnt finished. Im still to do walking animations for all the direction but lack any real motivation. I can do sprites for people. I wana get better thats why. but only if its a decent project.
Wow, that looks really good! I'm sure there are a couple good coders around here that could team up with you. I wouldn't advertise a lack of any real motivation though.

Wow those sprites are amazing. Did you want to specifically make a top-down game? Or are you open to other games too? I'm interested in doing a short game.
Yeh. I dont Have many examples. I would have some stuff from years ago if I knew what happened to them. I used to use Tgf and only just recently discovered and been mucking around with tgf2 demo. Its pretty cool. Unfortunately I suck at coding and all that, so my projects on tgf were usually just backdrops and actives with no events tied to them.
If you give me an example or idea or design breif for some gfx i could try it just to see if i can basically for my own self gratification. im not limited to top down. I made that cos I wanted to make a big Halflife-esque adventure shooter with big levels. but i realise my limitations. The reason i wana do gfx or join a team is cos i would actually like to be a part of something that would get finished. plus i wana get better.
Who knows, maybe if i just chip away at something id get there eventually.
Ah, well I was just curious. But yeah, if that's the only sprite character you have at the moment you should get crackin' on some more!
What works really well for me is creating nude male and female sprites and going from there. My female sprite is shorter, slimmer, and of course has boobies. While adding breasts to a male sprite, and calling it a day might seem like a good idea.. don't be lazy. Aim for making two different sprites. And of course draw them in 4 (or 8?) different directions.
So that should keep you busy for a bit. Be sure to post your new stuff.
