Hmm interesting.. if you think about it without prejudice, it looks kinda nice I guess. But, as you say, it's clear it takes a lot of inspiration from the Warcraft universe. I have to say, the town screen reminded me of the Zeus/Pharaoh games, and the battle screens reminded me of Heroes Of Might And Magic.
All in all, even if it does a good job at pretty much ripping some things off, it looks kind of interesting....unless it really just is an Evony clone...that banner that was just posted says it all I guess.. put in a picture of a babe and attract all the little kiddies.. as people often say when they join Evony: "Where are the boobs?"
Man I love that narrator's voice. So is it just me, but if you're going to put enough work in making a video of your game wouldn't you want to show some gameplay? They just displayed some concept art and screenshots of the game to some overly dramatic music.

Originality is a lot of work
It's a perfect example of someone applying valid business principles to a game. It's like someone "rebranding" your typical tomato sauce, applying an advertising concept that's worked brilliantly for the same audience, and selling it for a bit cheaper. I'd like to see how well this works out - how much can you make from producing generic rubbish?
