Another thread about the NFL!! (because I know how much everyone here loves the NFL)
The first (completely meaningless) preseason game was yesterday, with OMC's beloved Bengals losing to the Cowgirls.
Anyone here play fantasy football? I play on NFL.com but haven't started yet this year, and it would be cool to have a few TDC people in the same league.
Right now I'm actually kind of angry - Monday Night Football isn't going to be available free-to-air in the UK any more  . Five have dropped their coverage, and now it's on Eurosport or some other crap channel. I guess I'll have to watch Sunday's football on Monday night instead (isn't the internet great? )
Might have to experiment with Sopcast too.
Quick prediction: Devin Aromashodu is going to have a monster season (top 5 WR) 
I have absolutely no clue who's going to win the Superbowl - think it could be wide open this season.

Are you sure he wasn't being serious? The Cowboys do suck pretty bad... and what were they thinking, drafting Dez "Bust" Bryant?!

The Cowboys are just one of those teams that everybody loves to hate, which in a way, means they must be quite good.
Nobody really hates the Raiders or Lions, because nobody even knows/cares that they exist.
They just haven't earned the kind of grudging respect that the Steelers, Patriots, and Colts have.
And not winning playoff games probably has a lot to do with Tony Romo being the biggest choker in the league.
Obviously I'm rooting for the Seahawks, but I kind of want the Broncos to do well too - I just feel bad for them after the way Josh McDaniels has single-handedly destroyed the franchise.

Might start watching NFL properly, but Monday Night is also soccer night. Might record the NFL.

Wow. I hope that wasn't part of a sweepstake, because you can kiss your money goodbye if it was. They are statistically speaking, the worst team ever to play in the NFL.
TWO WINS in the last TWO SEASONS is pretty bad.
Still, I can see them going one better this season, and finishing 3-13 (beating St Louis, Buffalo, and Tampa).
