This should be simple for some of you guys.
I just want to have a picture be taken of a section of the screen and have the option of saving the picture as a file. Basically just a "snapshot" doodad. Any thoughts?

You mean you want the game to be able to do it or are you just looking for a quick easy way to do itself with going into Paint. In that case, just get SnagIt. It's got a wide variety of features which could be bound to the print screen button which expand its capabilities to do exactly what you're asking.

Oh, I forgot to mention I would like to have this feature in a game, not really for personal use. Like a "Snapshot Adventure!" type-game.

A screen capture object is included with MMF2. Set the capture region and trigger in the events.

K...figured out most of it. But I still need to know how to save the picture as a file so as to be able to view it or maybe modify it on Paint at a later date. Maybe a jpg file?
