So Kingdom Hearts BBS is out and looks incredibly awesome! I really enjoyed both KH1, 2 and CoM. However, I don't have a PSP. Do you think it will be worth it to buy a PSP just for BBS?

I liked it when they had just the two original games on the PS2, and the GBA game, but nowadays like with many Square Enix games, they seem to be dragging it out
Oh, btw, don't know about where you live, but a PSP can be had for pretty cheap. I traded an NES for one on craigslist, but they run for around $60 otherwise.
It is going to be awesome! Ign gave it a 8.5 I am ready to spend some money this tuesday.
And PSP rules btw, been playing final fantasy Dissidia for the past 2 weeks now and it is awesome. So many great games on that machine! When I went back to my nintendo ds after playing the psp, it made the DS feel like a cheap kiddy toy.

Really? My brother and I have a hard time actually thinking of good games for PSP. I mostly play PS1 classics.
On the matter of buying a 3DS and the KH game for 3DS, you'd also be able to play KH 358/2 Days, which is awesome. Just try to think of more than one game before you buy the psp, unless you're willing to shell out hundreds of dollars to play just one game.
It's personal preference. I have many more games for my DS. In terms of handheld gaming, I think very little beats the DS, even though Locoroco 1 & 2 are some of my favourite games ever. However, I prefer my PS3 over my Wii.
If you want to play kingdom hearts don't get a psp go, it won't be coming to the Psn store so you'll have to buy the umd version.
You can get psp 1000's on eBay for as low as $40, two of my friends bought one recently. They like them better than their ds's that they've had for years.
If you can get custom firmware for it you can also run emulators like dosbox and scummvm, which are my favorites. Not to mention homebrew like cavestory and the recently released Engine02 which is a game creation engine for the psp, wii, xbox, Mac, and PC.
I'd have to say that my favorite homebrew for the psp is Rhythm, which is a music creation studio simlar to modplug. Ita very nice, and quite capable for a handheld music studio. Better than any of the music apps Sony has produced anyway.
Also if you are looking for another good game to justify the purchase chek out monster hunter, I used to not like the game, but once I got past the high learning curve it was rather addictive.

I find it quite hilarious that you say Kingdom Hearts is awesome, yet you call the DS a "cheap kiddy game."
I really like the PSP system, which makes me sad since I too have trouble finding good games for it. Nothing holds my interest. The DS has lots of stuff I enjoy. (Which just makes me all the more excited for the 3DS.)

ANYWAY... What Jon said. Don't buy it for just one game unless you can get a deal. Look for other interesting games too.
