The Japanese version has been released already, and we don't have wait much longer for the English language versions

Trailers etc here:

It looks amazing - perhaps even better than the first two, which are already the best games ever made IMO (certainly the best RPGs).
I didn't think I'd like it being all 3D this time around, but it actually looks really cinematic and cool.

I'll probably give it a go. I adored the first game, was one of the first GBA games I got, after Rayman Advance. Graphically the style seems really nice and clean. Many 3D games on the DS look kinda fuzzy or messey, like Animal Crossing (which I was playing last night)

I really enjoyed the first one. I wouldn't say its the best though :/. The amount of dialogue was a major problem as well. Even skipping sequences(if you've seen them before) could take 5-10 minutes.

I didn't play the second, but I may pick this up one day because its an RPG and I love my DS.

GET ONE . Its worth it.

Maybe you could consider trading some stuff in for one . . . check out estarland.com

They give much more credit than any other used game seller. You can even get instant credit online just by telling them that you are sending x games/consoles.

For example - I traded in several copies of Lego Batman + Pure for $7 instant credit each. These were worth $1 at gamestop.

I got a PSP for piddlesticks ($10 NES, a few games, and a controller--coulda got away with less since the dude shortchanged me a bit) on craigslist. DS would probably be even easier to nab!

If you have a birthday coming up next spring though, just wait for the 3DS.
