I am looking for someone that would be able to use the tools of mff2 to be able to help create a game like Minecraft. It is an incredibly simple game but its result are fantastic. The overview is basically a game when you have tools, Armour, toys and a world to build but you start of with nothing and must build and build. Any more details you can ask bellow...

Thanks

Would you happen to have any examples of your art? And are you planning on making this an online game or anything like that?

Minecraft really is a lot more complex than it seems, solely regarding the landscaping part. I don't think MMF is very well suited for a game like that since you need to use an horrendous amount of objects to display the world (or use some master-genius coding workarounds), not to mention the fact that it's more suited for pure 3D.

Can I say it's interesting that you chose the word "horrendous"?

Couldn't this be achieved with actives, past into background, and layers for destroying backdrops?

I've seen it done with single-colored backgrounds, but there may be a way to do it with any type of background if you have multiple layers.

It's very do-able for a side-view engine, but I was under the impression that he wanted something more close to MC.

I was thinking of a side scrolling style with the THEME of Minecraft not another Minecraft clone just loosely themed. And I am working on some example tiles of art now if you want me to ill send you a link to them when done.

Why don't you just post them here and tell people what you need. At least they will have an idea of what they are getting into.

If you're looking for a coder, you need at least a design document for them to know what to do
