How do I change the transparent color for my sprites? Also how do I create a custom palette? It's really annoying having to use the colors mmf2 supplies and not being able to use pure black...
If you put a million monkeys at a million keyboards, one of them will eventually write a Java program.
The rest of them will write Perl programs.

To change the transparent color, just double-click the box with the grey/white check pattern (just below the palette).
To change the palette, go to the frame properties panel, and click the "edit" button next to "palette".
Note: You are not limited to using just those colors shown in the default 256 color palette - just double-click on any palette box to pick a custom color.
Seriously though, don't use the MMF2 picture editor - it sucks!
Use a proper graphics app instead - eg. http://www.oldversion.com/download_Paint_Shop_Pro_5.0.html
