Okay, I've just made like, the BEST GAME EVER (no lie) and I'd really love for everybody to be able to play it and be happy, but I have a problem- I suck at online highscores. There, I said it. Make fun of me all you want, but remember, you won't ever play what is totally THE BEST GAME EVER unless I find out how.
The situation
*I suck at online stuff
*I have followed the clickteam online highscore tutorial HERE http://www.clickteam.com/website/usa/img/uploads/tutorials/download/321_Easy_online_scores.zip
*I have set up a free account with Byethost
*I have uploaded the three things to the ftp account I got free with the byethost, but can't figure out the url required to access the files. Does anybody know if byethost even supports PHP any more? If not, are there any better sites to upload stuff to? I feel I've done everything in the tutorial, but it just can't connect to the php files, no matter how hard I try. I've tried a number of different combinations for the url but I just can't seem to open it, no matter how hard I try. If you need me to show you some of the combinations of urls I've tried, I can post a list, but it might not mean much unless you've used byethost yourself.

So yeah, I'm a total noob at this sort of stuff and would like to know how everybody else does it, since as I said before I have made the best game ever and would really like people to play it, but alas, at this rate it's never going to happen.

www.GameBuilder.info allows you to create a highscore tables and has templates on how to use them in your game. no need for a webhost account as it is all stored on our servers.
or, if your game is flash, you can use mochi-leaderboards.
