Think--Emmet, noob, fake account, 2009. Wanted to build an OS without really knowing how bootloaders or computers in general really worked.
Anyway, I wasn't a fake account. I [i]was[/i] Ken Larson, though, so I did take an early stab at maturity.
So a note to all you guys:

telnet (insert IP of your brother's ridiculously security-lax and more trick-prone file server here)
sudo cd /
sudo rm -r /*/
This is the greatest trick ever, and I assure you that people will cry many, many tears of joy at this trick.
