Hello there, it sems like the newgrounds edition of tgf2 I downloaded doesnt have the midi stuff enabled, does it mean I have to make the music a wav file and play it at the start of a frame?
any help is appreciated

Since the SWF format doesn't support midi it is disabled in the NG version of TGF2. The best option would be to use WAV indeed. Of course this will be compressed to mp3 when you export it.
