I'm making a shooting game and i wunna know how or if i can do destructible terrain.... i'm going to have a weapon that you drop and it explodes creating a big tunnel in the groundand you can set the direction in which it blows a hole. anyone know how it could be done?

It is possible, but I'm unsure how. Best guess would be to create an Active Object the shape of the hole, then "Paste Image Into Background" as not an obstacle, then destroy the active object.

Alright, make the sky or background one color, and make a big circle the same color, and whenever you, lets say, drop a bomb on the ground create the big circle when the bomb makes contact with the ground. Then have it so ALWAYS> PASTE "CIRCLE" INTO BACKGROUND. That should work.

Make sure you destroy the circle after its pasted into the background though.

make the terrain an active object and have it destroyed when it gets hit with a bomb.

Your solution would take up way more memory, pickle.

Mester Branch I believe made a sweet example with the overlay object, allowing a gradient backgroud. It was lovely.
