...Still plenty of time to make "awesomely terrible" games for this year's Pirate Kart over at Glorious Trainwrecks. All submitted games will be entered into the mega-collection and debuted at this year's GDC (Game Developer's Conference).
Now, with a jaw-dropping 847 games at last count, they've folded this weekend's game jam into the Pirate Kart! If you were just thinking about it last weekend, you should honestly have a go at it.
If the game is good, that's okay. But if the game is bad, that's okay too! If your game is "awesomely terrible," then that's the best! See some of the many, many submissions, and you'll see what I mean.
In the words of one astute participant: "Making games is a game anyone can play." I encourage everyone to participate.

Of course, you could learn a lot more about the project if you went to the Glorious Trainwrecks website:
I personally love the idea of simply playing with a software toy and having something amusing to show for it after about two or three hours. That's my main reason for jumping in to these kinds of things. There's really nothing to lose, and no matter how bad your game is, someone else has already made one that's worse. So there's no pressure in creating. It's a great sandbox.
