I'm using the PMO extention in some of my games. I can get around that just fine, but i cant make jump through platforms. Please help. if you have an MFA that would be great.

I forgive you, Wheatly.

simply just create a separate active object you wish to use as your jump through platform, then create a new event set it to PMO:check for jumpthrough and player collides with your new active object, then in the actions, set it to PMO: Player collides with jumpthrough object.

oh, it has to be an active object? that would have been nice to know, I've been using backdrops. How do you set it as a jump through platform? Do backdrops work for this in any way? I like to use them as obstacles etc.

-EDIT-
oops, just re read that. ill test it now.

Yes you can use backdrops for jump through or regular obstacles, however, you can only use backdrops for one or the other. I tend to use actives for it myself, since it makes building level editors so much easier.

Ensure you have the events in the correct order, this screwed with me for a bit:

PMO Test for jump through platform overlap
+Collision between "Player" and "Platform"

Have it the other way around, and it doesn't work.

The only thing backdrops do is sit around, not move and potentially have collision. They're treated as a single object. You can essentially think of them as an active object, they are just stripped of all of their values so they use less data.
