This idea came to my mind. How would it be, if all of the daily click members did a single game. They would choose which type of game to make by making a vote. It would be the game of the year. Every body might do a part of the game. But in order to do this a public server would be needed. Anybody like this idea? If you do I can continue.

I believe many attempts at this have been made before, and pretty much all have failed.
Ashman tried something similar to this recently with Klik Karnage, but little has been heard of this project for sometime.

These plans always crumble, people have good intentions though. The best attempt i have seen is the Microgames one. That seems like it will acctually work.

i dont think it would work, but Shadowcaster and others put competitions once in a while (i cant be bothered in this competition because 2 things)
1. I cannot do RPG or Sports
2. Everyone thinks im a newbie and they can't be bothered looking at my games lol, which i am unhappy off

@ urbanMonk i'm down with bring back old threads. Here is my two cents about it.
It would be super cool to have everybody work on one game. The idea has crossed my mind before.
But I never suggested it. Cause i felt it be insulting to suggest some of the more skilled talent on here to work for free. Some of the uses here ( not me for sure ) can make games just as good as any in the play store.
So in my opinion if it would ever work. It would have to be backed by money.

We had a contest a few years back with a few teams making games. I can't remember the name of the contest, but I think only one game was finished. It was kinda terrible since most of us are too busy to work on stuff anymore. It's sad really.

I really only want to work on my own stuff. I'm bad at team. Never been able to finish something for a competition either. Or a game, at all, since 2008.
jeez...

they have social media sites that are teaming up to make game related art and what not.
i found one called artella. I see this as a real option for game designers in the future. Someone with just a good game idea could find artist and programmers online and make something.
A one man team just can't be competitive any more.
