I don't have MMF 2 yet but was wondering if blocks of code could be transferred over from the events editor in MMF 1.5?

Yes, MMF2 can open MMF1.5 / TGF1 files. The only major issue is that not all extensions are compatible.

Thanks Sketchy. I watched a tutorial on MMF 2 but to be honest it didn't look that much different to MMF 1.5.

Yeah, the interface is very similar - just streamlined a little bit. Most of the big changes are "under the hood", so to speak (hardware acceleration, new extensions, exporters, etc).

I tried opening up an one of my old games in MMF 2 but I couldn't find the main code (global events). Any ideas?

Hi Dave S.,

A bit of the topic: I do not have MMf 1.5, but I was wondering if MMF 1.5 has an extension called "shortcut"? It is an extension I have been searching high and low for to make .lnk shortcuts in my MMF frame and somewhere I read that it was doable with MMF 1.5.

So just curious if this illusive extension does exist.

PS: Not sure if this is what you are looking for:
In the "Workspace Toolbar", you click on your application name. In the Properties box below it
you click on the "Events" button. This will give you the global events - could it be in there?

Hi Avantar, sorry but I couldn't find the 'shortcut' extension you were looking for.

I clicked on the application name in the 'workspace toolbar' but nothing happens. I get the same result even if I right click on it and then click properties. I am using the demo version of MMF 2.
